Warm weather is making an honest attempt to claim my  city. Not at this moment, of course. It’s night and I should be in bed.  But I do live for Spring and Summer – the time when we can leave the house without a jacket and go barefoot if we dare.

I may not be an athletic-type person but I do enjoy being outside. Read that: “sitting” outside.  This is athletic enough for me. While my  body rests, ages and sags my mind is going full speed.  Paper is never far from my fingertips. Even if it’s just to write a “to do” list for the third time.

Jannet Burroway, in her writing book talks about stocking up on what you consider “fast pens.”  Mine are the black Bic Velocity gel type pens.  I don’t know if they make me think faster, but they sure glide across the paper. And let’s face it, if you’re a writer, you don’t need any thing that will slow you down!

But now I’m going to slow down and get to bed. Maybe some more tomorrow!  I’ve got some interesting stories I’m doing.

Good night, Anne!
